A fresh wave of major releases arrived this Friday, with Taylor Swift, Tinashe, Madonna, Charli xcx and several other artists adding new music to the week’s lineup. Among the newly announced tracks, Swift returns with Patient Zero, a bonus song connected to The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. The track brings together pop production with country-inspired touches and a more measured, midtempo sound.
This week’s release slate also includes Tinashe’s eighth studio album, Popstar, following the momentum of recent songs including Nasty and No Broke Boys. The new project continues her run of polished pop and R&B releases.
Madonna and Charli xcx have also joined forces on Danceteria Afterhours, while Maren Morris and Michelle Branch revisit Branch’s 2001 song Goodbye to You with a new collaboration.
Kenny Chesney, Leon Bridges, Jae Stephens and Nanpa Básico are among the other artists releasing new material, giving listeners a mix of pop, country, R&B and Latin sounds to explore.
